Amazon FBA for Supplements 2026: Compliance, Labeling and Logistics Essentials
Supplements remain one of Amazon's highest-margin categories — and one of its most policed. Here's the compliance baseline that keeps listings alive in 2026.
Labeling: The Supplement Facts Panel
US-bound products need an FDA-compliant Supplement Facts panel: ingredient amounts per serving, % Daily Value where established, proprietary blend rules, and the correct net quantity statement. Your manufacturer should provide panel-ready formulations — if they can't, that's a red flag.
Claims: The Line You Can't Cross
- No disease claims ("cures insomnia" → account suspension risk)
- Structure/function claims only ("supports restful sleep")
- The disclaimer must appear on the label for structure/function claims
Amazon actively scans listing copy. Keep claims consistent between label and listing — mismatched claims are a common suspension trigger.
Documentation Amazon May Request
- COA from an ISO-accredited lab (not just the manufacturer's internal COA)
- GMP certificate of the manufacturing facility
- Product images showing the full label
Have these ready before listing — requests come with deadlines measured in days.
FBA Logistics: Cartons That Don't Get Rejected
FBA has carton weight, dimension and labeling rules. FBA-ready cartons with FNSKU barcodes applied per unit (or case-packed configuration) prevent check-in delays. We ship FBA-ready cartons as a standard option — most sellers skip the relabeling step entirely.
